Freya Meredith has been performing for 17 years. Freya has studied classical and
contemporary voice, dance and drama. She is a graduate of the Hunter School of the
Performing Arts, landing herself in the top 5% of NSW for music performance. She has
also completed Grade 8 Trinity Musical Theatre and Grade 8 AMEB Singing receiving the
result of distinction.
Freya has been thoroughly involved in the Newcastle musical theatre and performing arts
community, having roles in Little Women, How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying,
Beauty and the Beast, HMS Pinafore, Avenue Q and many more. She has also dabbled in
choreography, lighting and sound, costume design and vocal directing.
Freya has worked as a children's entertainer in the groups "The Jolly Pirates" and "The Little Scallywagz", and has a Diploma of Musical Theatre with WEA Hunter/Pantseat Academy.
While she is passionate about performance, Freya's true love lies with the mechanics of the voice and the teaching of this to other singers. Freya has been teaching singing at various locations throughout the Hunter region since the beginning of 2015. She is excited to continue her teaching experience with Pantseat, to not only help nurture singers, but entertainers.
